Information Technology Instructor - Full-time, Temporary
- Example of Duties

Teach assigned classes including, but not limited to Introduction to Computers, spreadsheets, computer programming, security, networking basics, mobile application development, and web development. Advise students, update and develop courses, represent the college in the community and provide assistance in state organizations. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, weekend and online classes.
- Typical Qualifications

Required:
Master's degree in information technology or computer science;
Two years work experience in a computer information technology field;Teaching/training experience;Strong Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with faculty, staff, students, and others.
Preferred:
Teaching experience at the community college level;
Microsoft Office Certifications (Word, Excel. PowerPoint) or willingness to obtain;
Experience in computer programming, mobile application development, web development, and database administration; - Supplemental Information

Applicants for full-time faculty positions are required to submit a statement on their philosophy of teaching and learning as it relates to the community college setting. Applicants called for an interview will be requested to present a fifteen-minute lesson on a subject chosen by the screening committee.
