Job Description:
The web programmer's role is to build the operations end of the ASC Web site. This includes designing, building, and implementing new Web pages and sites; integrating sites with back end applications; migrating legacy applications to the Web; performing day-to-day administration of ASC's Web portfolio.
Scope of Responsibility: A position with college-wide responsibility, the web programmer plays a significant role in shaping the image of the entire college by enabling and supporting communication between the college and those it serves through maintaining the integrity of ASC's web presence and setting a vision for future development. It is essential that this person is team-oriented and has experience working in a collaborative environment.
In support of Drupal and other departmental services. It is necessary for this position to write original code and contribute to an existing code base in PHP. This position typically works with PHP code concerning role-based web applications, object-oriented and database connections.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: AAS Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree in relevant field or equivalent experience. Knowledge of database development; experience in search engine optimization, web analytics, and content management systems are desired. Specific experience with Drupal preferred. Skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
