Diversity Resources: 

Office of Multicultural Affairs - The Armstrong State University Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) provides the opportunity and resources for the betterment and development of our student body.  OMA supports students’ social and intellectual growth as well as civic engagement though community service and cultural competency though programming. 

We strive to accomplish these things through working in conjunction with various University Departments within the Division of Student Affairs, recognized student organizations, and University Departments campus-wide in an effort to provide quality interactive programming.  Programs are inclusive of diversity and social justice awareness events, cultural heritage month celebrations, and global programming.  The nucleus of our programming efforts target diversity, cultural competence, academic stimulation, and service to the Greater Metropolis of Savannah.

Safe Space - Safe Space is a campus-wide initiative offering a visible message of inclusion, acceptance, and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people in the university community.

Men of Vision & Excellence (M.O.V.E.) - Men Of Vision and Excellence (M.O.V.E.) is a multifaceted support program for African-American males entering Armstrong as first year, full-time, college freshman. The goal of M.O.V.E. is to enhance retention, progression, and graduation by creating a culture of academic support and success.
