Bethel is a great place to work-and our over 900 employees comment on the satisfaction they find in their work and the support of their peers and colleagues.
Talk with any student or employee and one thing you'll be sure to hear about-the Bethel community. Many places talk about a supportive environment, but it's not something we just say-it's who we are. From colleagues praying for each other to professors golfing with their students, life at Bethel is more than just a job or an education.
We value the work that our employees do to advance the mission of Bethel. To show this, we provide some of the best benefits in higher education. From traditional benefits like health insurance and retirement plans to low-cost dining options in our 3 premiere venues and on-site childcare, our goal is to take care of you.
One of our core values is that we are reconcilers-honoring the dignity and worth of all individuals. We are committed to building an employee community that reflects the variety of the world and strongly encourages applications from candidates who will enhance the gender, ethnic, and cultural diversity of our team of educators. From lunch groups to trainings and trips, we strive to educate and equip our students and employees to be partners in reconciliation.
Our main campus is located in St. Paul, MN on 245 acres of wooded land on the shore of Lake Valentine. We also have teaching locations throughout the Twin Cities. In San Diego we have a growing seminary offering evangelical seminary education in a diverse community. On the East Coast, we have teaching centers in the Washington DC-metro area and in New England.
There are many benefits, exclusively for our faculty, that make Bethel a wonderful place to begin or continue your teaching career. In addition to the standard employee benefits, Bethel offers faculty members important benefits such as funds to attend professional conferences and assistance in writing grants for research and program development. We value our shared governance structure, which involves faculty in the planning and decision-making process.
