About Central College:

Job Description:
This position will interface, connect with and tell Central stories to external constituencies, including prospective students, families, alumni, donors, corporations, foundations and friends of the college. We are seeking someone to help build our brand, increase awareness of our academic program offerings and grow the college's digital presence.
We need a talented digital communications expert to develop and create storytelling across multiple platforms to inform, engage and entertain Central audiences and support the college's communication and marketing goals.
This position is key to the integrated marketing communications team.
The content specialist - digital communications will support the development, organization and maintenance of the college's websites and digital presence, including work with video, social media, bulk email and other interactive services.
We're looking for talent with exceptional marketing skills.
Reporting to the director of integrated marketing communications and media, this position will help guide and support the college's communication priorities and strategies for student success.
The talent in this role must have a great attitude and understand digital and traditional channels used to reach and engage with an audience. As part of a learning organization, this position will have the opportunity to sharpen existing skills and hone new ones in a fast-paced, results-driven and supportive environment.
Requirements:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, multimedia, broadcasting or journalism. One to five years of successful experience in communications, public relations, social media or design is desirable. Will consider recent graduates eager to learn.
The successful candidates should communicate exceptionally well; be creative; operate in an organized manner; and have the ability to deliver aligned content to meet the needs and interests of college priorities. In addition, the successful candidate will have an interest in and curiosity for all aspects of education and a dedication to promoting the college through developing excellent relationships with faculty, staff, students, volunteers and colleagues.
