Description:
The School of Computing at Clemson University invites applicants for Lecturer positions beginning January or August 2019. Responsibilities will include teaching (primarily for undergraduate classes), student advising, participation in departmental and university committees, and other typical faculty responsibilities. Teaching assignments will be determined based on school needs and candidate interests. The ability to teach courses in operating systems, networks or software engineering is desirable, though not required. The school includes 44 faculty, of which 36 are tenured/tenure-track faculty, 6 lecturers, and over 750 undergraduate and over 250 graduate students. The School offers BA and BS degrees in Computer Science, BS in Computer Information Systems, PhD and MS in Computer Science, MFA and MS in Digital Production Arts, PhD in Human-Centered Computing, and PhD and MS in Biomedical Data Science and Informatics.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have earned a graduate degree in computer science or related discipline by the start date. A record of successful teaching experience is preferred. Lecturers are eligible for promotion to the rank of Senior Lecturer.
