Credential Analyst/Credential Program Advisor

You will become a vital member of Concordia's School of Education committed to prepare servant leaders who transform lives through innovative and exceptional educational practices to positively impact local and global communities. You will use your skills to advise students in the Teacher Education program and help finalize their teaching credentials with the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
Essential Duties of the Credential Analyst at Concordia
The Credential Analyst is the liaison between the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and the university in all CA Teacher credentialing, Educational Administration credentialing, and School Counseling credentialing issues. This position is responsible for implementing CTC credentialing procedures and rules; updating and disseminating credentialing information to students, faculty, and staff; overseeing the management of all credential files; and authorizing the official filing of credentials. In addition, this position serves as an academic credential advisor to all undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students seeking to complete a credential program.
What you need to be qualified for this job:
To be qualified for this job, you need a bachelor's degree, at least one year of related experience and/or training, ability to be flexible to changing conditions posed by ongoing revisions in teacher credential state standards, ability to work effectively with people, and excellent computer skills to maintain accuracy in written communication data entry record keeping.
