In addition, the Enrollment Manager/Career Technical Student Success Advisor will work as a team member to promote Edison State and to provide advising services to youth and adult students within the Career Technical Centers served by MVCTC and GCTEC. Responsibilities include implementation of events, career and college-preparation advising for high school students and adult learners, coordination of external advising and registration, and to recruit students into Edison State programs.

- Represent the College off-campus to prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors/administrators, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process.
- Assist Career Technical students with the articulation and credit transfer process.
- Plan and implement recruitment activities, including travel to distant sites in Darke County, Montgomery County, Miami County, and Preble County. Evening and weekend hours are required during specific times of the year, but not common.
- Guide prospective applicants through the admissions process and inform them of opportunities at the College. Identify and engage in outreach to diverse populations of prospective students.
- In close consultation with the Enrollment Managers develop and assess ongoing strategic communications including email, print, and other media. Enrollment Managers will assist in the development and coordination of off-campus events and programs.
- Works closely to back-up and support other Enrollment Managers in coordinating outreach, recruitment, and admissions activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
A background in teaching, academic advising, counseling, education or related field is desirable. Individuals should have experience working with high school age youth and adult learners, possess strong organizational and leadership skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent customer service skills; and the ability to work with a diverse student population and community at large. Driver's license and reliable automobile required for transportation between sites. A professional background check is required.
Required Experience:
One year of experience working with high school or college level students is desirable. Experience serving populations within a high school or community college setting is desirable. Experience working with adult learners is desirable.
Required Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Some evening and weekend work required.
