Edison State Community College invites qualified candidates to apply for the full-time position of Director of EAGLE Program. The Director oversees delivery of services and ensures adherence to the grant agreement supporting Project EAGLE (Education, Abilities, Growth, & Life Enhancement) Program.

- Provides information to potential program participants and their families and supports intake processing as needed.
- Requests, receives, gathers, and maintains documentation for all facets of service delivery and project evaluation.
- Coordinates and conducts training opportunities for faculty & staff to insure an inclusive and supportive experience for program participants.
- Manages the program budget.
- Advocates for, plans, and helps identify resources to ensure program longevity beyond the scope of the grant.
- Selects (and provides contextual training, if necessary) and supports individuals to fulfill project coaching roles.
- Provide instruction for program participants as needed to support employment readiness and program outcomes.
- Ensures curricular expectations are met in regards to program participation.
- Build and maintain professional relationship with multiple stakeholder, participant, and advocacy groups.
- Demonstration of excellent documentation and written/oral communication skills to oversee and supervise all communications between stakeholders and participants.
- Awareness of supervising staff working with people with disabilities.
- Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) certified and/or willingness to be certified.
- Ability to pass SB 160 background check and drug screen.
Required Experience:
- Administration of Medicaid Home and Community Based Waivers with focus on career planning services with the expectation that career planning will lead to competitive integrated employment.
- Experience integrating person centered planning keeping the person served choice of utmost importance, implementing individual choices and preferences in program choice.
- Use of ISP outcome and action step planning.
- Adherence to DODD Incident Reporting standards.
- Training in Health and Safety including CPR/First Aid and positive behavior support.
- One year of supervision experience supervising staff working directly with people with disabilities.
- Two years of experience in at least one of the following categories: supported employment, health and rehabilitation, community training with individual with disabilities/developing community connections.
Required Educational Background:
Associate's degree or higher with two or more years of successful related work experience. Education and experience in the following fields are preferred: health and rehabilitation, human services, social work, special education, vocational habilitation, public relations, business, accounting, communications, organization management or closely related discipline.
