Description
The Office of Enrollment Management and Student Success is seeking to hire a Project Director. The Project Director for the Chatbot Scaling Program will oversee the budget, timeline, and deliverables and will serve as the key point person for coordinating and communicating efforts across different university offices. This person will articulate the goals of the project to key stakeholders, coordinate the timely contributions of the various campus experts to the knowledge base both before and after launch, ensure the timely completion of project tasks, oversee the hiring of graduate assistants, be responsible for the quarterly and annual reports of progress, and ensure that project design is being adhered to for the purposes of assessment.
The Project Director will also be responsible for the presentation of the program as a cutting-edge AI-enhanced student success tool that is both useful and scalable to colleges and universities throughout the nation and internationally, through various information distribution mediums.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the project activities, including review of participant engagement data, management of nudges schedule, and planning of strategic use of the chatbot platform. Serve as liaison between project and other associated offices or entities within/outside the University, specifically with other EMSS offices, including Registrar, Admissions, Student Success, University Advising, and also the Honors College and academic program advisors. Articulate and facilitate the goals of the project, coordinating the timely contributions of campus experts to the knowledge base before and after launch.

Coordinate and prepare technical reports, publications, and research manuscripts related to the project, as well as oversee data collection, analysis, and management process. Produce quarterly and annual reports of progress, and ensure that project design is being adhered to for the purposes of assessment.

Collaborate with project partners within/beyond the division to facilitate a campus-wide chatbot initiative for student enrollment and profession, including chabot vendor (AdmitHub), academic departments, athletics programs, and the division of student affairs. Attend meetings with project partners.

Develop and conduct workshops and presentations on use of AI-enhanced technology in text messaging campaigns focused on student enrollment, progression, and graduation.

Supervise staff. Coordinate human resources activities, including: creating/modifying position descriptions, performance appraisals, hiring, staff training, corrective action, conflict resolution, and termination of employees. Have knowledge of campus human resources policies, procedures, and employment development opportunities. Maintain materials for use in policy and procedure manuals and training documents.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
