PantherTemps is our in-house temporary staffing agency to assist all University departments with temporary support services in a timely, cost-effective, and stress-free manner. Work assignments are offered to PantherTemps candidates on a part-time or full-time basis. Length of assignments may range from one day to nine months. PantherTemps Administrative positions are mapped to job titles and duties, such as Administrative Assistant, Administrative Coordinator, Administrative Secretary, Administrative Specialist – Administrative, Clerk, Customer Services Specialist, Receptionist, Records Coordinator, Secretary, Staff Assistant, Telephone Operator. Qualifications
Administrative Assistant: Bachelor’s degree; or high school diploma or GED and four years administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Administrative Coordinator: Bachelor’s degree and one year administrative experience; or high school diploma or GED and five years administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Administrative Secretary: High school diploma or GED and two years secretarial or administrative experience. Typing speed above 40 words per minute may be required.
Administrative Specialist – Administrative: Bachelor’s degree and two years administrative experience; or high school diploma or GED and six years administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Clerk: High school diploma or GED and six months of office or general clerical experience. Light typing may be required for some positions (25 wpm).
Customer Services Specialist I: High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service, administrative or office experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Receptionist: High school diploma or GED and one year receptionist or customer service experience.
Records Coordinator I: High school diploma or GED and one year office or clerical experience, including experience with a large filing system.
Secretary: High school diploma or GED and six months of secretarial or office experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Typing of 50 wpm or 40 wpm with six months word processing experience required.
Staff Assistant: High school diploma or GED and six months of receptionist experience; or six months experience operating a multi-line telephone system.
Telephone Operator: High school diploma or GED and six months of receptionist experience; or six months experience operating a multi-line telephone system.
