Description
The Clinical Research Data and Quality Analyst contributes to the overall effective operation of the Georgia NCORP Research Network through data and quality initiatives. The Clinical Research Data and Quality Analyst is responsible and accountable for accurately capturing, organizing, analyzing and reporting of clinical trial data. The Clinical Research Data and Quality Analyst should be knowledgeable of clinical trials research and understand the importance of data quality and integrity. This position closely collaborates with the Clinical Research Manager to ensure clinical research compliance through data quality assurance measures and internal monitoring processes.
Georgia CORE is seeking to hire a Clinical Research Data & Quality Analyst. The scope of responsibility will include the these specific duties but is not limited to the following,
Compiles and analyzes clinical trials data obtained from the National Cancer Institute’s Clinical Trials Support Unit platform

Interprets patient enrollment information and demographics

Effectively communicates and troubleshoots database related issues

Communicates issues impacting clinical data with Clinical Research Manager

Works with sensitive patient information, documents and issues
Generates network reports from clinical trials data analysis

Creates monthly dashboards and performance reports

Assembles annual network affiliate reports with assistance of President and Clinical Research Manager

Assist with development of Committee reports

Updates database of clinical trials monthly
Participates in Internal Network Monitoring and Quality Reviews

Assists Clinical Research Manager with monitoring of GA NCORP affiliates

Conducts monitoring in accordance with applicable SOPs, GCP and ICH Guidelines

Drafts copies of monitoring reports

Maintains policies and procedures
Attends GA NCORP related meetings
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-
Current licensure as Registered Professional Nurse in State of Georgia

Bachelor’s Degree with experience in clinical research
-
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator or Certification eligible, desirable

Knowledge and experience working in cancer care and research

Demonstrated success in working collaboratively in a team environment

Strong self-starter with analytic abilities, excellent communication and organizational skills

Knowledge of project management concepts, practices and principles

Ability to travel

Human Subjects Training and Good Clinical Practice Training within 30 days of employment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
