Required Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum five years of related experience.
- Effective communication skills (verbal/written) and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with students, faculty and staff.
- Ability to effectively summarize and present information.
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to complete projects on a timely basis and to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with strategic planning process.
- Experience with supervision.
- Experience with technology and awareness of cybersecurity best practices.
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Treasury Professional
- Masters of Business Administration
- Experience with investment management.
- Experience with debt management.
- Experience with daily cash operations and treasury functions.
- Non-profit tax experience.
- International tax experience.
- University experience.
Responsibilities – Essential Functions:
- Manage University banking relationships.
- Manage University investments – operating, endowment, retirement.
- Manage University debt structure and capacity.
- Oversee daily cash operations.
- Oversee PCI compliance
- Oversee University tax compliance
- Other duties as assigned by Controller.
