Duties and Responsibilities |
This position is primarily responsible for identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects with a rated capacity of $100K-$1M, and personally manages a portfolio of about 125 prospects. This person will oversee a set of major gifts goals and metrics. This position will also work closely with faculty and other Advancement leadership. The Director will be responsible for the cultivation and solicitation of principal and major gifts to the school from alumni and friends in the successful attainment of the goals for the SSOM based on Loyola University Chicago (LUC) priorities and campaign initiatives. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience |
A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred. 5-7 years of significant leadership experience, preferably in higher education development, alumni relations, annual giving and corporate & foundation relations, with a record of increasing levels of responsibility, with proven fundraising, alumni engagement and participation success. |
Qualifications |
• Direct experience in a complex institution -with multiple academic units, athletics, and academic medicine will be extremely advantageous. |
