Moreno Valley College

The Moreno Valley College is fast becoming the health education center of choice in the Inland Empire with strong programs in health sciences, human, and public services. Each semester more than 7,000 students pursue associate's degrees, transfer to a four-year college or university, or a career certificate that qualifies them to enter their chosen field.

Mission Statement

Responsive to the educational needs of its region, Moreno Valley College offers academic programs and student support services which include baccalaureate transfer, professional, pre-professional, and pre-collegiate curricula for all who can benefit from them. Life-long learning opportunities are provided, especially, in health and public service preparation.

"On March 1, 2010 the Board of Governors officially recognized Moreno Valley College as the 111th Community College in the state of California. Having received initial accreditation on January 29, 2010 from the Association for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Colleges, Moreno Valley College met the standards of an independent two year college. Moreno Valley College is now part of a multi college district of the Riverside Community College District alongside Riverside City College and Norco College. The vision, hard work, and dedication of faculty, staff, students and the community has made this a reality. I am proud to be the President of the Moreno Valley College. We will strengthen our commitment and presence in Moreno Valley and the Inland Empire."
