Diversity & Inclusion Council at NLU
The Council's membership is comprised of a cross-section of National Louis University's faculty, staff and students.
MISSION
National-Louis University’s Diversity and Inclusion Council will act as a presidential advisor on diversity issues affecting the university, recommend strategies for creating a culture of inclusion, and monitor progress of the strategic goals related to diversity and inclusion.
OBJECTIVES
- - To monitor progress on diversity-related goals of NLU’s strategic plan.
- - To provide diverse input on creating an inclusive environment.
- - To foster a better understanding of diversity through programs and open dialogues.
- - To provide insight and make recommendations to the president and senior leaders on key diversity issues facing the institution.
- - To model inclusive behaviors.
