Electronic Engineering Technology Instructor
- Job Responsibilities

To teach didactic and laboratory College level Engineering & Electrical/Electronics courses including PLTW (Project Lead The Way) courses. Provides leadership, management, planning and coordination with instruction of students, student enrollment and advisement, student recruiting and retention, marketing and the provision of services to the College and community. Includes curriculum and instructional development, assessment functions to include program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes. Advise and support transfer programs.
- Minimum and Additional Requirements

Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to a baccalaureate degree: doctor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.
- Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline preferred. Five years experience in the field preferred. P E License and/or Project Lead the Way certification preferred. Teaching experience at the community or technical college level preferred.

Requires flexible work schedule with possible evening hours, including teaching "Hybrid" courses. May require teaching within seven-county service area; ability to represent the College; and travel, possibly overnight, to attend trainings, workshops, seminars, and professional dev. May require lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to learn to use the PEN and D2L system as means of delivery.
