Job Description:
Saybrook University is seeking a Student Tutor to join its Center for Writing and Dissertation Excellence.
Under the direction of the Director of the Center for Writing and Dissertation Excellence, the Student Tutor is responsible for assisting students one-on-one with their writing.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The Student Tutor position duties may include but are not limited to tutoring, creating tutorial documents, and writing case studies/reports about completed tutoring sessions. This position will use technology such as e-mail, peer-to-peer video platforms, and learning management systems to facilitate tutoring. Answering phones/e-mail, other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Student Tutors must have competent college-level reading comprehension and writing skills.
- Student must be eligible for FWS
Position Qualifications:
- Prior experience tutoring and working with students remotely.
