General Description |

The Department of Social Science invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer position in Paralegal Studies to begin Fall 2018. |
Specific Responsibilities |
• Program planning and development, course and program assessment, and curricular and course review. • Demonstrate a sense of connection and responsibility for helping the College to achieve success through a commitment to its mission, vision, and values. • Actively participate in the academic life of the College. • Communicate effectively, share vision, focus on people, initiate positive change, value differences and foster collaboration. Work with and inspire others to achieve college, department, and individual success. Minimum Qualifications |
• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited law school, and experience working as or supervising paralegals. • Experience practicing law. • Active license to practice law. • Experience teaching legal technology courses, including content related to e-discovery, e-filing, case management software, office management software and trial presentation software. • Experience teaching Relativity or comparable e-discovery database software. |
Preferred Qualifications |
• Experience teaching Paralegal Studies at an urban college preferred. |
