Job Description:
Function of Position:
Responsible to the Central Market Production Manager primarily for various food preparation and catering support activities.
Hours: 5pm-8pm, Monday through Friday. Some weekends possible if needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist night cooks in refilling the serving line for the evening meal.
- Make sure that the quality and presentation of our product is to a high level.
- Prep items for the following day as time allows.
- Assist with any position in the Central Market as needed.
- Keep working area neat and clean.
- Help with special events in the Central Market.
- Display a clean and neat appearance and pleasant attitude
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Six months effective food service experience.
- Ability to lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 pounds, stand and/or walk for sustained periods of time.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must be willing and available to work evenings and week-ends.
