POSITION: Associate Registrar, Data and Reporting

APPOINTMENT: Administrative, full-time, 12 months
STARTING SALARY: Commensurate with experience

DESCRIPTION: Manages the accuracy, integrity and security of all student academic records within the Student Information System. Compiles, maintains, and tracks student academic information and records for internal and external analysis, use, and reporting. Along with the Registrar, this position will oversee maintenance, enhancements, and upgrades of automated systems and technologies within the Registrar’s Office.
• Technology and Reporting liaison for Registrar’s Office
• Manage, create, validate, and maintain all reports generated for Federal, external, and internal use from the Registrar’s Office
• Work with external auditors for all Federal reporting handled by the Registrar’s Office
• Manage the accuracy and integrity of the student data within the Student Information System – Colleague and the data warehouse
• Manage the accuracy and integrity of the student data being uploaded into the Student Information System – Colleague by external systems
• Streamline and improve quality of processes using the technology available
• Supervising staff in assigned area, including goal setting and training
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Position requires Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of related professional experience in a similar position. Master’s degree preferred. Successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, managerial, organizational, and analytical skills and commitment to students and university. An in-depth knowledge of technical areas, including developing reports with data-mining and data-analytics tools such as Business Objects is necessary. Candidate must possess well-developed motivational skills and ability to work independently in a multi-task oriented environment. Must be able to competently interact with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.
