Varies by semester, approximately 8-10 credit hours each semester or equivalent to 4-5 hours daily, Monday-Friday, occasional evening and weekend hours to meet nurse aide clinical training requirements. This position follows the academic calendar of the Sheridan High School. (Typically 9-10 months) |

Job Summary |
Teach dual enrollment college level health science courses at the Sheridan High School, including but not limited to Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Responder, and Introduction to Health Professions. This position will be located at Sheridan High School. |

Education/Qualifications |
Associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Current, active, unencumbered licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Wyoming. Current Health care Provider Basic Life Support certification or able to obtain certification by date of hire. |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities |
Knowledge, skills and ability to teach college-level health science courses as assigned. |
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements |
Work is performed primarily indoors in a classroom, lab or clinical setting. Travel between campus buildings, clinical sites, and to other locations may be indicated. There is exposure to hazards related to working in medical waste and/or health care equipment. Subject to walking, sitting, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and stooping. Frequent lifting of objects up to 30 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 50 or more pounds. |

Experience |
Two years of full-time nursing practice experience, minimum of one year must be in long-term care. |
