Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Lions Mane Line phonathon will operate for 10 weeks during the fall semester. This can be a second on-campus job as long as you do not work more than a total of 20 hours/week between both jobs.
Phonathon Callers help achieve specific fundraising goals. The callers are required to represent Saint Leo and themselves in a professional manner and have a positive attitude at all times. A high level of energy, experience working in customer service, and a desire to contribute to a team environment are a plus. A student that has an on-campus job can still apply for the Phonathon Caller position as long as they do not exceed 20 hours.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of proper phone etiquette
- Ability to organize and present thoughts in a concise and persuasive manner
- Ability to ask prospects for donations to Saint Leo with confidence and a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Must be reliable and available to work a minimum of 2 evening shifts per week
- Previous knowledge, training, or experience is preferred but not required.
- Currently enrolled in Saint Leo University with a minimum of 12 credit hours
- Approval for federal work study required.
