Job Description Summary
Graduate Assistants for University Ministry are a vital and integral part of the ministry staff by providing Pastoral Care to the Saint Leo University community. The Graduate Assistant works in collaboration with the University Chaplain, Campus Minister, and Music Minister in weekly programming for the department.
Job Description
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
- Current enrollment as a full time student in a Saint Leo University graduate program is required.
- The candidate should be working on a degree that prepares them for a career in ministry
- Graduate students in any major are eligible to apply.
Skills:
- Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Candidates will demonstrate good communication skills (written and oral) and be detailed oriented.
Abilities:
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Sit for long periods of time
