Job Description Summary
The Total Rewards Coordinator reports to the Director of Total Rewards and is responsible for assisting employees with all aspects of benefits, maintaining employee database, managing all insurance billing and maintaining employee benefit files.
Job Description
Duties:
- Administers various employee benefit program including health, dental, vision, retirement, life, tuition remission, tuition exchange, FMLA and short and long term disability.
- Provide benefit orientations and enrollments for new hires.
- Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and complete all requisitions.
- Process all changes for benefits for life events outside of open enrollment period.
- Prepare and maintain employee benefit files, ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.
- Update and maintain employee files regarding the tracking of benefit deductions or additions/ subtractions in Workday.
- Report, analyze, and interpret benefit related data as required.
- Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information ad understand University benefits.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Two to four years' experience in employee benefit administration.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
- Knowledge Microsoft Office suite.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher preferred.
- Knowledge of Saint Leo University benefit package a plus.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
