Position Information

This is a full-time (1.0 time-base), benefits eligible, permanent (probationary) position. This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime compensation. Standard SDSU work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs. The purpose of this position is to oversee the operation of the parking management software, permit issuance and budgetary coordination for parking & transportation services. Must be able to explain University parking rules, regulations and interpret policy to faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This position will reconcile citation processing, payment and tracking of invoices, enter and track purchase orders ensuring appropriate funding is encumbered and make necessary purchases for parking related equipment/supplies. This position will configure T2 for permits sales, trouble shoot issues in T2, maintain the list of employees paying for special parking privilege and ensure payroll deductions are accurate. The expectation is this position would also be able to assist in the absence of the student assistants and other the office support coordinators. Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $3,830 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,288 - $6,162 per month. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Entry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
