Position Information

This recruitment will be used to establish a pool of candidates for current and future full-time, permanent (probationary) appointments. Work schedule to be arranged. Under the direction of a Police Corporal and/or Patrol Sergeant, Police Officers perform general patrol and operational police duties and may assist in investigations or as members on special teams or task forces. They conduct foot, vehicular, and bicycle patrol on campus and in the adjacent community. Incumbents are responsible for reporting and investigating crimes and traffic incidents, enforcing state laws and local ordinances, responding to medical emergencies, and all other incidents requiring police assistance. Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $7,235 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,682 - $7,235 per month. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.
