This is a full-time, benefits eligible, temporary position anticipated to end on or before 06/30/2019, with the possibility of reappointment and/or permanency. This position is designated exempt under FLSA and is not eligible for overtime compensation. Work hours may vary based on operational needs. Under the general direction of the Associate Athletic Director of Ticket Operations, the Ticket Operations Coordinator will assist with administering all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the ticket office. The Aztec Athletic Ticket Office is a service business where the incumbent has extensive contact with the public and will provide professional, friendly, and helpful customer service. This includes responding to calls that involve selling tickets. The Aztec Athletic Ticket Office is located at the San Diego Country Credit Union Stadium. The incumbent must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and will perform job requirements independently with general instructions. The incumbent will be responsible for providing lead work direction to staff members and student assistants, training staff and developing training tools, assisting with annual SDSU Athletics ticket planning, and supervising event duties and ticket office fulfillment. Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $4,792 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,897 - $6,846 per month. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Entry into this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
