Position Information

This is a full-time (1.0 time-base), benefits eligible, permanent (probationary) position. This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime compensation. Standard SDSU work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs. Under general supervision of the Facilities Service Center Manager, the Work Control Analyst understands and performs the full scope of Facilities Services Service Center activities and responsibilities. This position is responsible for completing and reporting on the full execution of the work order process from receipt and initiation through estimation and approval and billing/close out. This position is responsible for all work order budgeting and billing including validating account numbers, running and adjusting billing feed file reports, processing the data transfers to the SDSU financial system (Oracle Financials) and running reports for the Facilities Services budget team. This position will act as back up for the Service Center Manager with regards to processes, procedures and daily operations of the Facilities Service Center. Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $4,000 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,288 - $6,162 per month. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Entry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.
