The Department of Mathematics is seeking an Ad-Interim Instructor beginning Fall 2018 for a 9 month non-tenure track temporary position.
Major/Essential Duties of Job:
- This is a temporary full-time position with a teaching load of 15 credit hours per semester.
- Duties of this position include teaching first year mathematics classes, undergraduate classes.
- Maintaining office hours.
- Professional development and service for the department and university.
Required Education and Experience:
- Master of Science in Mathematics or closely related field.
- 18 graduate hours in Mathematics.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master of Science in Mathematics
- Preference will be given to candidates with college or university teaching experience.
- Evidence of teaching excellence.
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations.
