Duties: The Biostatistician position will support clinical and health policy-related research projects conducted by investigators at the LDI (Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics). The Biostatistician will use SAS and/or STATA programming skills to generate analytical datasets from clinical trials, surveys and health care claims, to construct standardized outcome measures and other analytical variables through data cleaning, data manipulation, and survey data scoring, to provide descriptive and analytical reports, and to perform exploratory and specialized statistical analyses such as missing data imputation. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are needed to support multiple and concurrent projects.
Position is contingent on continued funding.
Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Math/Statistics, Healthcare Management, Economics or Public Health, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Experience in applying health services research methods through SAS or STATA programming is required. Strong statistical programming skills are required. Prior work experience in academic or research setting in health care is preferred. Prior experience with analyzing clinical trials is preferred. Position contingent upon funding.
