The Payroll Analyst I position is part of a customer-focused team responsible for oversight of the University System of Georgia (USG) Shared Services Center (SSC) consolidated payroll processing (approximately 66,000 W-2s generated). Responsibilities include preparation, updating and maintaining payroll related records, data files, reconciling and balancing payrolls as well as resolution of payroll issues. This position must be flexible and have the ability to be productive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and meet stringent production deadlines. This position serves as a primary interface between 26 USG institutions, the University System Office and third party vendors regarding payroll related issues including: automated time and labor, taxes, garnishments, retirement processing and payroll calculation/confirmation.
Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and two years of payroll administration experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the necessary knowledge and skills.
