The Ventura County Community College District is a public community college district serving residents in Ventura County. The District’s three colleges—Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura—offer programs for transfer to four-year colleges and universities, occupational and vocational training, basic skills instruction, as well as economic development and continuing education for cultural growth, life enrichment, and skills improvement. Each of the colleges provides a wide range of general programs and services to students, as well as focusing on its own unique and specialty areas. As of Fall 2012, VCCCD served 32,646 students.

Ventura College, an accredited two-year institution of higher education, has been a part of this beautiful seaside community since 1925. It is conveniently located approximately 60 miles north of Los Angeles and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara. The 112-acre campus, set in the rolling hills of Ventura, has an enrollment of 12,897 students.

Moorpark College an accredited two-year institution of higher education has been a part of the Ventura County Community College District since 1967. It is located in the eastern region of Ventura County.  The campus, on 150 acres of sloping hillside land at the eastern edge of the city of Moorpark, has an enrollment of 13,419 students.

Oxnard College, an accredited two-year institution of higher education, has been a part of the Ventura County Community College District since 1975. It is located in the heart of Ventura County two miles from Pacific Ocean beaches.  The 118-acre campus, set on a flat plain in Oxnard, has an enrollment of 7,330 students.

The District Administrative Center, located in Ventura, oversees administrative functions and provides services to the three colleges in support of their mission.
