Job Description:
The Religion Department at Wittenberg University seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August, 2019. The successful candidate will teach courses on Christianity (history, theology and ethics) including an introductory course on the New Testament. Ability to teach in some additional area(s) such as, but not limited to bioethics, women and religion, religion and politics is desirable. Candidates are expected to engage in departmental and university service and are welcome to participate in mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. is required by the start date. College level teaching experience is preferred.
