Job Description:
Duties:
The office assistant will work approximately 5 hours per week with the physics and engineering faculty members as they begin to assemble documentation for their self-study and accreditation site visit.
Duties include:
- Copy and organize documents;
- Format documentation in proper format;
- Catalog documentation; and
- Perform other, related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Students are expected to be personable and pleasant, demonstrate strong communication skills, organization skills, and work habits, understand the need for a high degree of confidentiality, be proficient in Office software, and be able to speak and understand English fluently. Given the nature of the work involved, students must not be a physics or engineering major or minor. A confidentiality agreement is necessary for this position.
Requirements:
Must be a current Central student that has been awarded work study by financial aid.
Pre-employment paperwork must be on file with the financial aid office before employment begins.
Must be in good academic standing.
Must be able to work 5 hours per week, flexible schedule.
Students must upload a current resume as well as identify effective communication and organization in prior work experiences.
