Office of Disability Services

The Office of Disability Services works with students with disabilities to assess their needs and assist with academic accommodations that may be necessary and appropriate due to their disability, assists faculty who teach students with disabilities, upholds the academic standards and integrity of the College and ensures College compliance with disability legislation.

Services are available to students who choose to self-identify and provide appropriate documentation of their disability. While Coastal Georgia does not offer separate classes for students with disabilities, we strive to provide a quality educational experience for all qualified students with disabilities through the assistance of the Office of Disability Services and other support services on campus. Our club goals are to promote awareness and increase appreciation of diversity and minority student culture, to act as a resource for students and faculty, and to provide a comfortable social atmosphere that helps improve unity and minority students' success at the College of Coastal Georgia.
