ACADEMIC COORDINATOR
Duties: The Academic Coordinator will be a key member of the ESE team, building materials and process infrastructure for managing key academic processes such as rostering, XCAT and student triage as well as managing student and department data to inform and support strategic goals of the department.
In close collaboration with Department Chair and Associate Director, the Academic Coordinator will manage all data collection and analysis as well as implementation of strategic changes based on what the data reveals. He/she will be responsible for defining relevant data points, creating appropriate tools to collect both quantitative and qualitative data, analysis of the data and the dissemination of insight to stakeholders. He/she will also create appropriate databases such as spreadsheets and access databases and develop other tools with consultants/partners as needed.
The Academic Coordinator will also serve as frontline support for both Ugrad and Grad students, providing triage to resolve various student issues and questions, including interfaces through websites, social media, email and in person. He/she will create tools such as best practices documents and other print or online materials as needed to provide efficient and sustainable methods of communications to students and faculty. Duties will also include organization of course fairs.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 years to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
