The University of Redlands is seeking to fill a faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders beginning September 1, 2019. We are an ASHA accredited program with a strong commitment to communication sciences and the liberal arts at the undergraduate level, as well as the academic and clinical preparation of graduate students in speech-language pathology. Position responsibilities include teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The University values applicants who have experience working with students from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Candidates who apply are asked to identify their strengths and experiences in assisting diverse student populations to accomplish curricular goals. The successful candidate will be expected to support the College of Arts and Sciences’ general education curriculum.
The University is a liberal arts institution in a town of 70,000 located 60 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. The campus is surrounded by orange groves and sits at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains, one hour from the coast and 45 minutes from Palm Springs.
